Long after Alice's death, Mathilda begins seeing strange visions swimming through her mind and vividly transposed into the world around her. Knights in shimmering armor---roses---even rumors escaped into the real world? Are they all just figments in Mathilda's mind? Armed with only an academy invitation and a mysterious ruby-red necklace, Mathilda ventures forward into the unknown with just one goal:

To seek the truth of her sister.
